«Where Have All The Flowers Gone?»
For this exhibition Conrad Ventur revives the starlet and songstress Marlene Dietrich, representing her performance of Pete Seeger's anti-war song “Where Have all the Flowers Gone” in 1972. The minimal yet dazzlingly kaleidoscopic effect that Ventur employs to magnify and multiply the moving image across all points in the gallery, at once activates the space and offers a dizzying amplification of a historically poignant appeal. A text by Ilaria Gianni will accompany Conrad Ventur’s exhibition.
